years we have been developing this program we found that there are others that
benefit from this kind of service besides the patients....
The
Caregivers!
This has proven to be
some of the most rewarding work that some of our staff have ever done. It seems
to be particularly well suited to retired or semi retired nurses, those that are
looking for additional income, and those who are simply “burned out” at
hospitals or nursing homes. As they are only caring for one patient at a time,
the work is less physically demanding than floor work. More important, they are
truly making a difference for families and patients at a critical time.
